The 2024 MNDOC inspection placed Morrison County Jail on biennial status with authority to operate from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2026. The report did not describe a population-reduction order. It did identify documentation and procedure issues involving meal supervision, lock testing, sanitation checks, segregation review timing, volunteer agreements, fire and safety inspections, classification overrides, well-being checks, daily inspection documentation, and medication refrigerator temperature logs.

Morrison County Jail Intake

The reporting page says a $20 booking fee is charged to the inmate account when booked. Sentenced Morrison County inmates are charged a $25 Pay for Stay fee for each day in custody. Work release inmates must stay current on a $140 weekly fee, and Sentence to Serve participants can work off base fines at $10 per hour before working off jail time.

Work release requires the sentencing judge's authorization and Morrison County Jail approval.
